DEAR COFFEEHOUSE VOLUNTEERS: This NOTE OF THANKS goes out to each of you for helping to keep coffeehouses, and thus folk music, alive. It is an enormous amount of work that never really ends and my hat goes off to you for handling the booking, marketing, phoning, setting up and breaking down of halls, providing refreshments, and last but certainly not least – overseeing the sound systems. I hope you all regularly receive grateful acknowledgement and much affection from audiences and performers for keeping these venues thriving.
